Make cloth dryer sheets.

 If you love scented dryer sheets for getting the static out of your laundry, take just a bit of your fabric softener mixed 1 part to 5 parts water. Take cloth rags, we cut up unwanted t-shirts into rags, and soak them in the mixture. Once they are fully saturated and soaked, avoid wringing them out and hang them or lay them flat to dry. This will allow as much as possible of the fabric softener to dry into the rags. These rags can each be used as a dryer sheet for several cycles of the dryer before you have to soak them again.
