Turn the lights off
when you leave a room - or install automatic light sensors.
Back to the basics folks or the not so basics. By turning the light off in a
room (and televisions) you can limit the amount of power you are using.
Automatic sensors can also be installed to turn on your lights when someone
enters and turn them off again when no activity is sensed. This could be an
expensive and trivial investment if you have a pet that can turn all of the
lights on in your house every 20 minutes the entire time you are at work.
