Reverse your
ceiling fans for the proper season. Here is the science: heat
rises and cool sinks. We however live generally in the middle to lower areas of
a room. By setting your fans to pull air up during the summer months, you are encouraging
that cooler air to pull upwards to the
Oreo center of your room. In the winter months, the fan should be
reversed to push the warm upper air down into the Oreo center. Generally the
movement of air also makes slight temperature preference differences less of an
issue with the brush of wind against the skin.
