Limit water per flush.

 In decades past, people have placed two liter bottles or bricks into their commode tanks in order to use less water. Bricks are now known to clog the drain with sediment, but bottles and jars are still a typical tool. Be careful that your commode still works well however. Many plumbers will advise you to just replace your toilet with a model designed as low flow.
